Series D – Smooth Bore Core Hoses

The Diebolt & Co. ElectraFlo II Series D Electrically Heated Teflon Core Hose features a smooth bore Teflon Core. The core can be heated for operations up to 450°F (232°C). Like the Series C, the Series D is capable of operating under continuous movement conditions. An internal heating element keeps temperature uniform while multiple layers of thermal insulation help promote temperature efficiency and a safe contact surface. The exterior hose covering comes in either a braided abrasive resistant sleeve of a flexible reinforced PVC jacket.

Electrical & Temperature Information

Operating Voltage for the Series D can go up to 480 VAC, with options for 240 or 480 VAC three-phase depending on the length of the hose. The Diebolt Engineering department helps you determine the proper power density for your electrically heated hose, based on desired operating temperature, low ambient temperature and size of hose. Series D braided stainless steel hose must be controlled (except for the self-limiting “SL” version) to maintain the desired operating temperature. A temperature sensor is installed during construction and, unless otherwise specified, will be installed three feet from the power end of the hose.
